Many customers new to beer ODM assume that ODM simply means brewing the beer and filling it into bottles. In fact, a mature beer ODM offering is a full suite of end-to-end services, covering the entire process from product concept to finished goods leaving the warehouse.

The first core service: beer development and recipe customization. The factory has an R&D team that can fine-tune existing, established beer recipes or develop new ones from scratch based on customer requirements. Examples include differentiated product categories such as sugar-free beer, fruit-flavored beer, wheat beer, and non-alcoholic beer. The process includes repeated sampling, tasting, and stability testing. The second: compliance support and label review. Beer labels must meet strict national standards. Ingredient lists, alcohol content, original gravity, and nutrition information must all be labeled accurately. ODM factories generally assist customers with label checks to help mitigate review risks. The third: packaging coordination. Different containers are supported, including glass bottles, cans, and PET bottles. The factory can coordinate with packaging material suppliers on the customer’s behalf and provide recommendations on bottle shapes, caps, and cartons. Some factories can also provide guidance on packaging design. The fourth: production, filling, and pre-shipment testing. Production is scheduled as agreed, with pasteurization, filling, and coding completed. Each batch comes with a test report to ensure consistent finished products. The fifth: warehousing, logistics, and shipping assistance, including split warehousing and direct shipment according to customer requirements.

Brand owners can choose a complete suite of ODM services or use only selected services as needed. This flexible model is ideal for supermarkets and retailers’ private labels, restaurant chains, and new retail brands looking to create their own beer products. odm.beer specializes in connecting customers with resources for comprehensive beer ODM customization.
